What: Boost! Combined youth worship

Where: Glebe Rd Uniting Church (Corner Eileen St/Glebe Rd, Booval)

NCYC 2011 NEWS
We whispered it the first time... so we've turned it up!
We've moved the date of our volunteers' day to be a bigger and brighter EXPO DAY on Saturday 28 August, from 1.00-4.00 pm. (We will confirm the venue next week, so stay tuned!). A few key people couldn't make it to the original date, and we've ramped up what will be included in the day:
* find out the vision behind ncyc11 - and how we hope it will influence the church
* understand the theme, Turn it Up
* meet some key personnel on team, find out about their roles
* see where you can fit into the bigger picture.
We've got some specific team positions we'd like to fill, but we also want people already on team to get the full picture of how this great event is shaping up. The day will follow a process developed by Rev Peter Armstrong which will step us through each piece of ncycll and help to grow us together as a team. There will be an opportunity for you to register, if you haven't already. We also need anyone involved with ncyc11 to have a Blue Card - so please bring those details with you. We'll provide you with sustenance in the form of afternoon tea delights. Please let us know if you can make it and encourage others to come.

	Hi! I'm Nick Patselis, Youth Pastor at Sherwood Uniting On Friday afternoons, from 3:00pm-5:00pm I will be available in my office (the vestry, at the back of the Church) for members of the congregation needing advice, resources, training and support in their leadership roles. My work days are Monday, Thursday and Friday, and if you would like to have a meeting with me feel free to ring me on 0418 155 643, or see me after church in the Fellowship Room.
