Could you please consider the details below and volunteer where you can.

There are always empty slots to fill on the rosters. We are looking for more people to participate in a number of rosters for 2010. Please give consideration to adding your name to a roster (or two). Here are some rosters that need more support.

Morning Tea
We would like to ask your assistance with the morning tea roster. If you are one of the people who enjoy your morning tea, and you are fit and capable, please take jour turn in the roster.
The roster will now operate as follows -
People who are on the roster are asked to bring milk and packet biscuits only!
Nlow we know there are a number of people in our congregation who really enjoy using their culinary skills and we, in turn. enjoy the fruits of their labour. If you are one of the people who enjoy giving us treats, we would hate to discourage you (far from it!)
HOWEVER, could you please bring those extra goodies on days when you are NOT on morning tea? That is, it is important for those who are on the roster to know that all they are committed to bringing is milk and packet biscuits, making sure the urn is turned on - then ensuring serving and washing up happens.

Vacuuming Roster - To make the above activity less onerous we have a separate roster for this. Please volunteer your name - or be aware at the end of morning tea that it may need doing and offer your
support to the people who have been busy working already that morning.

Flower Roster - Do you enjoy flowers and arranging? Here's an opportunity to arrange both flowers and people. We are looking for a flower roster co-ordinator to take over where Judy Chatham left off when she moved to Dalby. People who are on flower roster take responsibility for flowers in the church (they can be artificial or fresh) for a fortnight every second month. Talk to Judy Thorton or Heather.
.
Working Bees - We could use a Volunteer to ‘run’ these activities. A person is needed to note the jobs and prioritize them, then advertise them prior to working bees so that people come prepared. However, even if you don't want to take that on, please consider coming along to help. There are many jobs that can be done - tidying the gardens, cleaning jobs that aren’t done regularly (clearing cobwebs, wiping walls, etc), minor repairs and so on.

Mowing - This is another roster where help is needed. This roster allocates pairs and hopes to have enough people so that each pair only has to do the mowing only twice a year.
